Life on the farm can be a wild ride of ups and downs, and for me, the last five years have certainly illustrated that. While going through a divorce, I found myself at a difficult crossroads. I had to temporarily step away from my beloved flower business. Now, with fresh determination, I'm is ready to cultivate beauty once again, bringing a burst of color to Prince Edward Island through my cut flower bouquet business.

As I am preparing to re-enter the world of floristry, my children and I are planting a diverse selection of flowers to enchant local residents and businesses alike. Among the vibrant blooms that we are excited to grow, are snapdragons, gladioli, asters, dahlias, and zinnias. Each of these flowers has unique charm and meaning, perfect for creating stunning bouquets.

I fully understand the challenges ahead but I remain hopeful. Each flower has its own growing season, just as each phase of life has its own timeline.

SUNFLOWERS

Sunflowers come in so many types and sizes and they are my favourite flower. We grow the pollen-less, cut-flower varieties in pink, white, green, sunset and of course, the traditional yellow colour.

Snapdragons

Snapdragons boast whimsical shapes and rich colors, adding height and drama to arrangements. Their cheerful blooms can evoke childhood memories, especially when crafted into "talking" flowers.

Gladioli

Gladioli, with striking spikes and regal appearances, serve as stunning centerpieces. They symbolize strength and integrity, making them perfect for honoring significant life events such as graduations or weddings.

Asters

Asters, small yet vibrant, are known for their star-shaped flowers, representing love and wisdom. Their diverse hues and dainty appearance add a gentle touch to any bouquet, ideal for romantic arrangements or gifts.
